How Do I Use the Dakpets Deshedding Tool?

     Remove the handle and comb from the packaging
     Clip the comb into the handle
     Wash your pet prior to use, to soften up the coat
     Comb your pet- gliding the comb down the coat and not against the coat

How Often Do I use The Deshedding Tool?

     The frequency will depend from pet to pet.
     We would suggest starting off lightly until you pet becomes familiar with the deshedding tool.
     Begin by using it 2-3 times per week

     Start by combing your pet a few minutes each time, then increase it as your pet becomes comfortable with it.

My Pet Doesn't Seem To Enjoy It?

     This can be due to a number of reasons and the main reason is you could be giving your pet skin burn by pressing down too hard on the deshedding tool and using it to often. Just lightly glide the comb down the profile of your pets coat.
     Work with the coat and not against it.
     Some pets are not familiar with a deshedding tool as it is very new to them Just like a young horse needs to be 'broken in', as do some pets.
